The weekend of the Big Game is here! Instead of just watching the Super Bowl come participate in Upland’s Game Day Celebration with your friends!
This year in Upland it’s San Francisco VS Fresno in the first ever Game Day Piñata Celebration! The celebration will take place beginning at 3:45pm Pacific Time on Sunday February 7th 2021.
How it Works
The goal of the Game Day Piñata Celebration is to accumulate as many points as possible for your team, either Fresno or San Francisco.
To join a team simply select a city you want to represent by heading there and looking for the Game Day Piñatas. Any piñatas you find will be attributed to the city you find them in. Piñatas can also include random UPX prizes as a reward for discovering them.
Your team will score 1 point for every small football piñata found and 7 points for the large helmet piñatas found. These piñatas will drop in random football formations at 3:45 PM, 4:30 PM, 6:45 PM & 7:15 PM.
Here’s the kicker — the formations will hint as to where you can find a Large Helmet. These helmets are invisible until discovered, so work with your team and fellow community members to share info/intel and figure out where the formation is.
Working with the community will be critical to your team’s success. Only through coordinating and sharing piñata locations with the community will you be able to successfully figure out each of the formations and locate the helmet.
Each formation will be on a timer, so you will need to work together with your team to get the big prize before it’s gone.
Who Wins
Whichever team has the most points after all formations have dropped will be crowned Upland World Champions and get bragging rights as THE football city until next year.
We will share the score on discord during the Super Bowl after each wave, and the final score after the Super Bowl is over.
