We’re thrilled to unveil the nominees for the 2024 Upland Community Awards! This year has been exceptionally vibrant, with a record-breaking number of nominations from our engaged community. To honor this surge of participation, we’ve expanded the nominee list to four outstanding candidates in each category.
Player of the Year
This prestigious award is reserved for an Uplander who not only represents the community with pride but also embodies a positive spirit, serving as a true ambassador for Upland. Meet this year’s nominees:
- Rockdrigo: Known for his dedication to building up neighborhoods, Rockdrigo is instrumental in tracking neighborhood ratings and fostering connections among players.
- ElijahJudah: The founder of RealNode LA, ElijahJudah has been a driving force in community building, consistently organizing events that unite Uplanders.
- Mucida: A perennial figure in our community, Mucida continues to provide invaluable support to players, both new and seasoned.
- HumanSim: Whether he’s moderating on Discord or crafting minting guides, HumanSim is always available to lend a helping hand.
Broadcaster of the Year
This award recognizes Uplanders who create engaging and informative content, enhancing the community’s experience and understanding of Upland. The nominees are:
- TheGoldsmith — TheMetaventurist: Known for his daily show, with an entertaining and insightful approach to Upland.
- Ben68 — Upland Down Under Podcast: Provides listeners with unique personal insights, feedback and strategy into Upland.
- ThankMeLater & 2Stupid2Win — UPX Property Xperts: The weekly podcast for all things Upland, sharing their honest opinions and insights.
- JamesUK — MetaverseMillen: Sharing his journey through Upland as he builds his node.
Designer of the Year
This award celebrates Uplanders who consistently demonstrate outstanding creativity and skill in designing content for Upland. This year’s nominees are:
Deathender (Detech): Celebrated for constant innovative and creative contributions to the Upland.
Charles_FR: Continues to impress with artistic flair.
Manumioto21: Known for vibrant and engaging design work.
Desjaak: Excels in creating captivating designs.
Awards and Recognition
The winners in each category will be honored with:
- An exclusive Upland trophy
- 250,000 UPX
- A unique in-game badge
- Bragging rights for the entire year
